The last Emperor of Russia and his family were killed in July 1918 in Ekaterinburg. Here is the poem by poet and officer of the White army Sergey Bekhteev. He devoted it to the princesses Olga and Tatyana. The poem was transferred to the tsar’s family when they were in Tobolsk and became a moral support for them. For many years scientists thought that the poem was writen by princess Olga as it was found in her book.
